Halee just turned 4 about 2 weeks ago and now Jett will be 1 in less than 2 weeks...
Time just flies. Everyone said it goes quicker with kids, but you just have to experience it to believe it. Just like a lot of things with kids, experience is the know all haha! They are getting so big. Halee is getting so smart, having conversations with adults, like this one with our good friends/neighbors "Ms. Wendy--Mr. Billy gave you that ring." Speaking of Wendy's wedding band, and I asked Halee why he gave it to her "Because Mr. Billy is in love with her" awwwww. Karis is just goofy, psycho...wierd, she stays up til all hours of the night, and then comes and trys to be all sweet and get in bed with us with this sad pathetic cute face, and in a high pitch voice says "but momma/dadda, I just wanna stnuggle with you..." (she inserts the 't' in snuggle). Jett is our man child, our friends call him Bam-Bam or Manboy or Monster or Linebacker...etc. He's rough, tough, huge, has a manly voice/grunt and is now walking. Funny kids, we are so blessed!!!

Beth, what precious descriptions of your sweeties! I remember those days, and you are right, they do pass w-a-a-a-y too quickly! What a privilege to get to relive it (somewhat) with grandchildren!
Speaking of which, our Beth is about to pop! They thought the baby was breech and had a last minute sonogram -- lo and behold! Baby #8 (grandbaby #23) is a brother for Peter! After 6 sisters, he is elated!

Speaking of the spitting image of Jake, Kitty and I were looking at some old pictures the other day, and there was a close up of Jake at about 12 or 18 months. Jett is actually the spitting image!! So adorable!

How fun it will be to look back a few years from now and remember our thoughts at this time in our lives. With so many littles, it's like a blur I KNOW...but it's good that you are determined to enjoy every moment!

thanks for your comments guys, yeah they are all getting so big. jett definitely does look a lot like jake. all my mom's immediate family are in town, so it's really neat to hear the different ways that they think the girls look like me when i was little. since they were around me til i was about 5. but i do have to say, that they don't see much of me in jett ;-) i think that's good...he needs to be a manly boy! haha
